You can then either add a domain later or use the web space with a domain rented elsewhere. If you add a domain later, this can become the inclusive domain or the discounted domain. In order to receive a free or discounted domain as part of the web space contract it is unnecessary to order a domain immediately.

Technically, the web space still needs a name. This is the "main domain". Many applications such as Wordpress also expect a domain name to be available. If you do not add a domain in the first order step, the order page will display a notice that a domain is missing. Later in the order you will be asked to name an external domain name, because the web space only works completely if a domain name has been assigned. The external domain name can also be a subdomain of one of your domains rented elsewhere.

You will receive an IP address in the server setup email. Then simply route all traffic from your external domain to this IP address using your name server at your domain provider.

Whether you use the inclusive domain or not: The price of the web space remains the same.
